Information on the Breeder of the Year Competition

All breeder members of the club are eligible to participate in the Breeder of the Year competition. The competition is based on a points system, as outlined in the table below. Applicants are requested to submit their compiled materials to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by January 15th following the competition year at the latest. Copies of Champion certificates and the evaluation sheets intended to be used must also be attached!

All registered dogs automatically participate in the Dog of the Year competition. Owners must register their dogs on the website.

Dogs aged between 3-9 months compete for the titles of "Puppy Dog of the Year" and "Puppy Female of the Year"; dogs born in the current and previous year compete for the "Young Dog of the Year" and "Young Female of the Year" titles; older dogs compete for the "Dog of the Year" and "Female of the Year" titles.

Dogs accumulate points based on the titles they earn at CAC and CACIB shows, according to the points assigned to these shows. Points from Champion titles earned within the year are also added to the points accumulated at shows.
